An Award-Winning powerful blend of antioxidants and moisturising agents assist to soothe and help rebuild the cellular structure of the hair. Provitamin B5 helps to prevent hair damage caused by overheating, whilst helping hair appear thicker. Organic Gotu Kola Extract helps to stimulate the circulatory system allowing more oxygen and nutrients to be delivered to the scalp. Organic Pomegranate Extract, rich in essential fatty acids, helps to hydrate dull strands, leaving the hair with a natural gloss. The 250ml bottle can be purchased with and without a pump. The 500ml bottle comes with a pump as standard. A reusable pump can be purchased separately for 1L bottle. Gotu Kola Extract (Organic) is well known in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine as a treatment for hair loss. This herb helps to strengthen hair follicles, whilst nourishing the scalp. Pomegranate Extract (Organic) possesses enormous antioxidant activity and is rich in essential fatty acids, which helps to strengthen dull strands, leaving your hair with a healthy natural gloss.

Provitamin B5 is enriched with highly moisturising and softening properties, penetrating readily into the skin and hair. Provitamin B5 helps to provide moisture and shine to the hair, and reduces split ends. It also acts as an anti-inflammatory by stimulating the skin's healing processes.

How to Apply

1. Apply to wet hair and massage into the scalp and through to the ends.

2. Enjoy a rich lather that will cleanse and refresh your hair.

3. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

4. For thick or oily hair, repeat steps 1 & 2 to ensure a thorough cleanse.

5. For the best results, follow with Intensive Repair Conditioner.

As with all personal care products, if irritation occurs, please discontinue use.

Haircare Tip – A double shampoo is recommended especially if you have thick or oily hair. The initial shampoo helps to break down and remove surface dirt, oil and product buildup from the hair and scalp. The second shampoo has a better lather and cleanses more deeply, ensuring that any remaining impurities are thoroughly removed.

Yes, our Intensive Repair Shampoo is certified vegan and cruelty free.

Our Intensive Repair Shampoo has not been formulated specifically to treat psoriasis/dermatitis, but it does contain natural, gentle ingredients so it will not irritate the scalp. One of the ingredients our Shampoo contains is Pro Vitamin B5 which acts as an anti-inflammatory by stimulating the skin's healing processes, which is extremely beneficial for scalp issues. It also contains Organic Gotu Kola Extract, which promotes blood circulation, to allow vital nutrients into the scalp.

Yes, it is! Curly Girl Method shampoos must not contain silicone, sulphates, mineral oils or harsh alcohols, which our products certainly do not! We’ve had excellent feedback from customers with both frizzy and curly hair.

It is perfectly safe to use on colour treated hair and is ideal for repairing dry and damaged hair, caused by bleaching. Unfortunately for me this shampoo does not clean my hair at all. I wish I requested a refund within the 30 day period (especially since I purchased the largest bottle) but I though I would try it for longer because other reviews were great. I've tried using a little, and also a lot. It just doesn't clean my hair.
My hair has become heavy and very greasy. I use no other products on my hair so the build up is only from using this shampoo and conditioner.
When I straighten my hair it sticks together like it's oily and I can feel residue on my fingers after touching it no matter how much I thoroughly rinse my hair.
I have never had this issue before and very disappointed such a costly product doesn't work.

Hi Jess, sorry to hear you haven't felt satisfied with your Intensive Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. After reading your feedback, we have a few suggestions for you that might help, so you can experience the same positive results as so many of our new and long term customers have.

Firstly, we always reccomend a double shampoo. Each cleanse removes impurities from the hair and scalp, but the second cleanse more effectively targets the buildup and excess oils. You'll notice a much greater lather on the second cleanse also.

If you have fine/thin hair, we only reccomend applying conditioner a few inches from the scalp and through to the ends.

Both the first and second shampoo as well as the conditioner need to be throughly rinsed, as residue left from either product, that has not been effectively rinsed will effect the end result. If rinsed thoroughly there should be no residue felt on the hair afterwards.

If you do have thin/fine hair, you may like to try a method called reverse washing, where you condition first then shampoo. People with finer and thinner hair sometimes feel this helps the hair to feel lighter and have more volume.

In regards to the shipping, your order did take 16 days from order being placed to delivery, usually it would be much quicker, but on this occassion your order was placed whilst we were closed for 10 days over easter.
